I sat at the bar so I was quick to be seated. The bartender was quick and on the spot with taking my food and drink orders. The Club Sandwich I got was really good and well dressed. They also have a House Made Ginger Beer that was very good and refreshing.

In town for the Big 12 Tournament and were searching for somewhere with great food and cold beer. We stumbled into the Milwaukee Deli on our way back to the hotel. You could smell the pizza a block away, and it instantly started making you hungry. The staff were very friendly and got us seated right away. The building is turn of the century and beautiful. Majority of the patrons that were there had pizza, so that made or decision easy. The pizza had great flavor and just the right amount of crisp. The crust was thin but not too thin, IYKYK. The garlic cheese breadsticks were great too, don’t let the picture fool you, we’d eaten over half of them before I remembered to grab a photo. Great food, cold beer, great staff!!! 5 all day long!!!

This place is great! I love the old feel of the building, it's location downtown and the food. We got the pizza and it was seriously in the top 3 pizzas I've ever eaten. Quality toppings and an amazing crust. Can't recommend enough...and the beer was really cold which made the experience even better.

Well well..... Mike (a-slash) and Mike ( the fuhrer) happen to get word about this spot from good ol Smokey (854). It did not disappoint. We ordered the Rueben and the pastrami!!! Chaaaaa( Fred durst voice). Potato salad and pasta salad. Vinegar time up in cheer. The waitress was quick, kind and polite. Food was great. Cool spot.

My husband and I stopped by Milwaukee Delicatessen Company for lunch just before noon, and we had a fantastic experience. We sat at the bar and were greeted with water and menus almost immediately. Our drink order arrived quickly, and our sodas stayed refilled throughout the meal—great service! We each ordered a slice of cheese pizza and shared a Roast Beef Sandwich with broccoli and cheese soup. The pizza slices were massive, and my husband, a New York native, was seriously impressed—he said it was the closest thing to NY pizza he’s had in Kansas City and probably the best pizza he’s had here. The pizza was absolutely amazing—the kind with that perfect, stringy cheese pull you see in movies. Beyond the fantastic food, the prices were super reasonable. We loved it so much that we’re getting pizza again for dinner tonight. It’s “twice in one day” delicious! Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great pizza and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved our lunch today in this cool building with history. Great original KC architecture, yummy sandwiches and kind and helpful service. The salmon BLT and Reuben sandwiches were fantastic, loved the German potato salad and fresh squeezed lemonade too. We followed recs from our server Sawyer and she was spot on. The pizza looks amazing, I’ll try that next time. Thanks for the great meal!

This place is awesome!! The pizza was excellent and the portion sizes are huge! The prices are very reasonable. Very friendly staff and the location has a vintage feel to it. Definitely want to come back and try more on their menu!
